WINTER / SPRING 2025 - study IN nashville + 1 week immersion

More than a teacher training, we offer an experience in personal exploration & growth

Join us for a life-changing experience. Beginning in January, 2025, you’ll complete 3 weekends of study & practice in Nashville (or remotely via Zoom). This includes the required foundational coursework of Philosophy, Anatomy, Energy Body, Sanskrit Study, etc. for your Yoga-Alliance accredited teaching certification. The weekends are spaced out every 3 weeks to give you time to absorb & apply the information, as well as keep up with your normal life obligations.

After completing the foundational coursework, you’ll choose your immersion experience:

  • Hot 26 (Bikram) Teaching & Training in Sewanee, Tennessee, May 2025

  • Vinyasa Teaching & Training in Glacier, Montana, June 2025

Montana Immersion

Study to teach Vinyasa (flow) yoga amidst the wild and beautiful mountains, lakes and wildlife of Glacier National Park at the Rising Wolf Retreat. We'll dive deeply into the yoga teachings, practice, and skills to become an effective teacher, while integrating scenic hikes, mountain biking treks, lake paddles, and other Big Sky adventures. Gather around the table each evening for specially-prepared, nourishing meals and share in your journey! This is the perfect opportunity to slow down, get off the grid, and pursue a truly special teacher training experience.

Sewanee Immersion

Study the Bikram-method, “Hot 26” lineage and teachings on one of the rocky, waterfall vistas of the Cumberland Plateau in eastern Tennessee. Join us at the Rising Sun Retreat nestled on 15 acres of Conservation Land where we’ll call home for a week of intensive study and practice, while integrating scenic hikes, waterfall explorations and nourishing, healthy meals. You will learn from experienced Bikram-trained yoga teachers with combined experience of over 30 years, and you will come out prepared to teach a full dialogue-driven Hot 26 class at any studio, anywhere in the world. You will also leave with lifelong friends and lessons as you embark the journey of becoming a yoga teacher.

TUITION for training + immersion: $3,500

INCLUDES:

  • 50% payment due by Dec 15, 2024 - (non-refundable unless we are able to fill the spot)

Teacher Training tuition is refundable up to 30 days before the training; however, a $500 deposit fee (included in tuition) will not be refunded if your spot is not filled following a last-minute cancellation. This is due to the expenses we pay upfront to the teachers, facilities and the retreat centers to reserve rooms & space. Thank you for your consideration and understanding.

We have limited Scholarships available based on need and budget. Our Scholarships cover 30% of the tuition, and a service project is required after you complete the training. Scholarships are reserved for students who are members of the studio community (practicing at the studio 6 months or more) Apply here

Time Commitment

Nashville Weekend Courses will be Saturdays + Sundays from approximately 8 am to 6 pm. Immersion / Destination Teacher Training schedules will be generally 7:30 am to 8 pm over the 7 days.

  • 100% attendance to all sessions, or make-up hours/contact hours can be prearranged with the Lead Trainer.

  • Show up in each and every moment with a dedicated mind and an open heart.

  • Some outside study time, required reading and homework outside of the group sessions will be required. These assignments will be communicated via email as soon as you register for the teacher training program.

  • Please email if you have scheduling conflicts, and we may be able to make special arrangements. We ask that our students devote themselves earnestly to their Teacher Training studies. To the extent that you show up in each and every moment, is the same benefit and learning you receive.
